BECOMING A CSCP CANDIDATE
The CSCP program is for professionals who are interested in increasing their knowledge and expertise
in the field of supply chain management. This new program is for individuals who have relevant work
experience and would like to advance their careers in this growing field and gain a broader
understanding of all of the areas that make up the supply chain.
To be eligible to sit for the CSCP exam, a candidate must meet one of the following criteria:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus two years of related business experience
• CPIM, CFPIM, CIRM, or CPM designation, plus two years of related business experience
• Five years of related business experience.
Where CPIM focuses primarily on manufacturing products and services, Certified Supply Chain Professional
(CSCP) builds on the depth of the CPIM knowledge. CSCP does this by extending the CPIM knowledge outside
a company’s internal operations to encompass all the steps throughout the supply chain—from suppliers
through the company to the end consumer—and how to effectively manage the integration of these
activities to maximize a company’s value chain.
About this class offering and registration
I would like to announce that we will be offering our next Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
class starting Monday February 13th at 5:30pm. This class will be instructed by Reuben Olson
and will be held on Mondays. The class covers
four modules that touch Fundamentals of Supply Chains, Building Competitive Operations and
Logistics, Managing Customer and Supplier relationships, and finally Information Technology
to Enable Supply Chain Management.
These modules will be covered over twelve
sessions and will meet every Monday from 5:30PM until 8:30PM starting February 13th, 2012 and ending Monday April
30th.
The class location: TBD
The class will be offered to members for $1845 and nonmembers for $2145. This price includes all class and online
materials as well as an exam voucher for the test.
